 The benefits of lowering tyre pressures for off road use are well documented but lowering your tyre pressures with tubeless tyres can result in the outer bead of the tyre being pushed off the rim. These rims use a locking ring on the outer edge of the rim to clamp the tyre firmly in place. With 32 retaining bolts to ensure an even clamping pressure all around the rim, these rims dispel the myth that beadlock rims can never be leak free - these rims don't leak. The rims are manufactured from the start as beadlock rims. These aren't a modified standared rim and, as a result they are of the highest quality and wheel balance is not a problem. The rims are available from stock as 16 inch rims, 8.5 inches wide, with a 4 inch backspace giving approximately a 4.25 inch offset. More than enough to retain a good turning circle without resorting to the wheel spacers that exclude you from most UK motor sport events. They are supplied with a Land Rover PCD to suit the majority of the Land Rover range including Defenders, Discovery 1, Range Rover Classic and Series vehicles. These rims are ideally suited to the large tyres being used in today's off road competitions such as the 35x10.5-16 Simex Centipede. Who says they DON'T LEAK and that they CENTER & BALANCE Easily?
